Lez<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr. William &#8216;Lez&#8217; Henry<\/strong> is of Jamaican parentage and is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology\/Sociology in the <strong>Ealing Law School<\/strong>, <strong>University of West London<\/strong> and is the Reggae performer <strong>Lezlee Lyrix<\/strong>. He has featured in numerous documentaries, TV and radio programmes and has lectured and performed, nationally and internationally. He delivers talks on various contemporary issues that affect the African Diaspora including, Education, Black History, Whiteness Studies, race and ethnicity, media misrepresentation, youth culture, etc.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He is currently researching alternative sites of learning, in which many young people succumb to the allure of gang culture and its associated forms of violence.
