This time around we would like to invite you to dicuss what being an &#8216;African&#8217; means. It is an important question in the identitiy politics that we as <strong>African Students United (ASU)<\/strong> are part of.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Join us in this debate where different aspects of the African identity politcs will be discussed. We present you a panel consisting of Africans from the continent and from the diaspora.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>The panel members for this evening will be:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Ama Koranteng-Kumi<\/strong>\u00a0(Social entrepreneur and writer of Ghanaian descent)<br \/>\n\u2022<strong> Seada Nourhoussen<\/strong> (Journalist of Ethiopian descent)<br \/>\n\u2022<strong> Josh Maiyo<\/strong> (Political scientist and Phd candidate at the VU university of Kenyan descent)<br \/>\n\u2022 <strong>Wayne Modest<\/strong> (Phd and head of research centre for material culture of Jamaican descent)<\/p>\n<p>Our host will be miss <strong>Clarice Gargard<\/strong> (of Liberian descent) herself.
