Shange is vooral bekend van haar choreopoem <strong>For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuff<\/strong>.<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Tijdens dit evenement bespreekt een panel van lezers en schrijvers de uitstekende manieren waarop zij, zoals ze zelf schreef in For Colored Girls, \u201ca Black girl\u2019s song\u201d deelde. Dit programma is Engelstalig. Het eerbetoon is onderdeel van <strong>Voices<\/strong>, een serie talkshows over de onderwerpen die de realiteiten van onze gemeenschappen vormen.<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n<p>On october 27th, the legendary poet and playwright <strong>Ntozake Shange<\/strong> passed away. Shange is most known for her choreopoem<strong> For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuff<\/strong>.<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>During this event, a panel of readers and writers will discuss Shange\u2019s outstanding ways of, as she herself wrote in For Colored Girls, \u201csing a Black girl\u2019s song\u201d. The program will be in English.
