Global African Women\u2019s Day, according to its organizers will be \u201cA day to celebrate a shared vision of unity, despite historical separations.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><\/p>\n<p>            <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" class=\"media-element file-volledige-breedte\" src=\"https:\/\/afromagazine.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/african_womens_day-1.jpg\" height=\"414\" width=\"764\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Drammeh Institute, a New York-based NGO and key sponsor, in partnership with other international organizations will facilitate the much anticipated Gala Dinner at the Millennium Hilton One UN Plaza New York, during the United Nations\u2019 two week annual conference on women.<\/p>\n<p>Initially launched last year at the Institute\u2019s forum \u2013 The Visible Invisibility of Global African Women during the 63rd Session of the Commission on the Status of Women, the concept was further adopted by a group of international pan African women\u2019s organizations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe appreciate that this day is recognized for its importance to our global community.\u201d said Iman Drammeh, an organizer for the affair, adding that the speakers will include, Dr. Barryl A.
