Tijdens het festival hebben ze verschillende sessies met Le Guess Who?-artiesten opgenomen in Bibliotheek Neude in Utrecht. De eerste opname is met <a href=\"https:\/\/leguesswho.com\/lineup\/sophie-nzayisenga?referrer=lineup\">Sophie Nzayisenga<\/a>, de\u00a0eerste vrouwelijke meester van de Rwandese traditionele citer (inanga).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sophie Nzayisenga<\/strong><br \/>\nWeinigen beheersen de inanga &#8211; door velen het belangrijkste muziekinstrument van Rwanda wordt genoemd &#8211; zo goed als Sophie Nzayisenga. Haar vader, Thomas Girupfu, was al een volleerd en beroemd inanga speler, waardoor Nzayisenga al op jonge leeftijd in aanraking kwam met het instrument.<\/p>\n<p>Vanaf een jonge leeftijd begon ze aan haar muzikale pad en trotseerde ze de maatschappelijke normen, waarbij ze onbevreesd genderstereotypen en de heersende oppositie uitdaagde. <em>\u201cMensen moeten weten, wat een man kan, kan een vrouw ook.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"url-to-video-container youtube-container no-js\"><span class=\"youtube-player url-to-video-player loader\" data-youtube-id=\"JXuDGNCpUJ0?\"><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Photography by Serrah Galos<\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>VPRO Vrije Geluiden\u00a0is al vele jaren partner van Le Guess Who?
