Ze portretteren voorouderlijke rituelen, onafhankelijkheidsstrijd, spiritualiteit en hoe de gevolgen van slavernij doorwerken in het heden,&#8221; schrijft het Filmmuseum in een bericht.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Dans, zang en muziek zijn van oudsher diepgewortelde en vitale aspecten van de Afrikaanse cultuur, die geest, lichaam en ziel verenigen. Ze maken een wezenlijk deel<br \/>\nuit van het culturele leven en de identiteit en migreren door tijd en ruimte. Ze dragen een symbolische\u00a0betekenis en zijn katalysatoren voor spirituele transformatie en bieden toegang tot heilige plaatsen.
